Description
Our client is looking for an experienced professional to join their operations team in the role of Assistant Manager. The responsibilities include overseeing the coordination of the entire supply network and leading planning procedures across global markets. This position entails collaborating with various stakeholders such as customer service, sales brand partners, and suppliers to ensure efficient production planning and product availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee demand and supply planning involving airlines, suppliers, and brands.
- Manage relationships with key suppliers, track production plan adherence, and ensure timely deliveries.
- Support new projects, launches, and rotation changes with product order schedules.
- Monitor product availability, identify potential shortages or excess stock risks, and lead supply issue resolution.
- Manage supply planning processes to develop effective supply plans and maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Define and adjust target stock levels for products or airlines to meet service level expectations.
- Identify and address slow-moving stock to prevent recurrence.
- Provide input for inventory projections used in budgeting.
- Lead continuous improvement of planning processes and tools to enhance efficiency, mitigate losses, and achieve cost savings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics & Supply Chain, or related field.
- Extensive experience in supply and demand planning.
- Proficient in data analysis with strong attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Ability to build effective relationships across various functions and levels.
- Basic knowledge of sales strategy and brand positioning.
- Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
- Proficiency in Excel, including Pivot tables and Vlookups.
- Advanced knowledge of digital and BI tools, with experience in Power BI being a plus.
- Previous experience with Dynamics is advantageous.
