About The Team
Join the Cryptographic Tech Team at Binance and be at the forefront of driving advancements in cryptographic technology. The team focuses on researching the latest cryptographic protocols and encryption methods, implementing them in our products to enhance user asset security, on-chain privacy, and exchange transparency.
Responsibilities
- Engage in cutting-edge research on post-quantum cryptographic protocols for blockchain applications, including areas like threshold signatures, signature aggregation, and proof systems.
- Explore and evaluate NIST post-quantum signature standards, along with new constructions from contemporary academic literature.
- Collaborate with senior researchers and engineers to convert research findings into practical applications.
- Contribute to open-source cryptographic projects and publish research outcomes as applicable.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Cryptography, or closely related field.
- Strong theoretical and practical understanding of cryptography, particularly in post-quantum signatures, MPC/threshold protocols, or interactive proof systems.
- Proficiency in at least one of Rust, C++, or Python, with the ability to interpret security proofs from academic sources.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous research experience or publications in post-quantum cryptography, threshold signatures, or verifiable computation.
- Familiarity with blockchain architectures, smart contract platforms, and on-chain signature verification constraints.
- Proficient in leveraging AI tools to accelerate research workflows.
