The Role
We are hiring a Senior Blockchain Developer to design and build smart contract systems across multiple client and internal projects.
You will work on a variety of blockchain applications - from DeFi protocols to tokenized systems and Web3 platforms - ensuring high standards in security, scalability, and architecture.
This is a senior-level, hands-on role with exposure to multiple products and industries.
What You’ll Do
Design, develop, and deploy smart contracts using Solidity
Implement token standards (ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155) and custom logic
Build and maintain contract architectures across multiple projects
Ensure security, audit readiness, and upgradeability
Optimize gas usage and performance
Collaborate with backend and frontend teams for integrations
Participate in code reviews and technical decision-making
Contribute to documentation and internal best practices
What We’re Looking For
4+ years of experience in blockchain / smart contract development
Strong expertise in Solidity and EVM-based ecosystems
Experience with Ethereum and L2s (Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism)
Solid understanding of smart contract security and vulnerabilities
Experience with Hardhat, Foundry, or similar frameworks
Strong software engineering fundamentals (testing, Git, CI/CD)
Ability to work across multiple projects and adapt quickly
Nice to Have
Experience with DeFi protocols, staking, or token economies
Experience working with auditors or security reviews
Familiarity with upgradeable contracts (proxy patterns)
Backend experience (Node.js / TypeScript)
Experience in client-facing or consulting environments

The project is being developed around a Web3 trading infrastructure platform. As part of our long-term vision, the UK team at Iress is building a scalable, secure, and production-ready platform for trading, staking, and DeFi functionality. About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on Business Development Manager who can help Schedar build strategic relationships across the AI, Web3, crypto, infrastructure, and startup ecosystem.
This is not a “send cold messages and collect logos” role. We need someone who can identify high-value founders, protocols, funds, ecosystem partners, communities, infrastructure providers, KOLs, accelerators, and technical teams — then turn those relationships into real opportunities for collaboration, deal flow, partnerships, talent, and growth.
You’ll work directly with Schedar’s team, founders, portfolio-related projects, and external ecosystem partners to expand Schedar’s network and support early-stage AI-native and Web3 products.
What You’ll Own
Identify and source high-potential startups, founders, projects, protocols, and ecosystem partners across AI and Web3
Build relationships with founders, operators, investors, accelerators, developer communities, protocol ecosystems, KOLs, and strategic partners
Create and manage outbound BD pipelines across LinkedIn, Telegram, X, email, Discord, events, and founder communities
Support Schedar’s deal flow by discovering early-stage AI-native and Web3 projects that may be relevant for investment, incubation, or collaboration
Build partnership opportunities for Schedar-backed and incubated projects
Map key ecosystems, communities, events, accelerators, grants programs, and founder networks
Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on relevance, stage, traction, team quality, technical depth, and strategic fit
Coordinate intro calls, follow-ups, partner conversations, and relationship tracking
Maintain CRM hygiene and structured notes on founders, projects, partners, and opportunities
Work with product, growth, recruiting, and investment teams to turn ecosystem relationships into actionable outcomes
Help represent Schedar in online communities, events, founder groups, and partner conversations
What We’re Looking For
Experience in business development, partnerships, ecosystem growth, venture scouting, startup operations, community, sales, or founder relations
Strong interest in AI, Web3, crypto, blockchain infrastructure, developer tools, automation, fintech, or frontier technology
Ability to identify high-signal people, projects, and communities before they become obvious
Comfortable doing direct outreach and building relationships from scratch
Strong communication skills and ability to explain Schedar’s value clearly to founders, partners, and technical teams
Ability to qualify opportunities, ask good questions, and understand what makes a project strategically relevant
Comfortable working in a fast-moving, ambiguous, remote-first environment
Strong follow-up discipline, CRM organization, and ownership over relationship pipelines
Ability to move between strategy and execution in the same day
High agency, curiosity, and bias toward action

Existing network across Web3, AI, crypto, venture, startup, developer, or founder communities
Experience working at a VC fund, accelerator, startup studio, crypto exchange, protocol foundation, or early-stage startup
Understanding of DeFi, wallets, L1/L2 ecosystems, infrastructure, token incentives, on-chain analytics, decentralized compute, or AI agents
Experience with tools like Notion, Airtable, HubSpot, Attio, Clay, Apollo, Telegram, Discord, X, LinkedIn, or similar
Experience sourcing startups, founders, investment opportunities, or strategic partnerships
Experience organizing founder intros, ecosystem collaborations, demo days, events, or community partnerships
Ability to write clear outreach messages, partner briefs, founder notes, and follow-up summaries
