**Role

An exciting opportunity awaits as a Bittensor Product Manager at Foundry, a subsidiary of Digital Currency Group, the leading investor in the blockchain space. Reporting to the VP of AI, you will play a crucial role in discovering, developing, and launching subprojects on the Bittensor Network. Collaboration with engineering teams will be key as you drive the creation of innovative products to fulfill customer needs and advance the mission of decentralized AI.

Work Location: Rochester, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define, prioritize, and outline product requirements and roadmaps for projects based on the Bittensor ecosystem.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to introduce exceptional product features and functionalities.
• Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to recognize trends and opportunities.
• Establish and update product documentation, including user guides and technical specifications.
• Manage the product backlog, coordinate with engineering teams, and ensure timely delivery of features.
• Gather user feedback through research efforts to enhance product decision-making and user experience.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales units to create and implement effective go-to-market strategies.
• Monitor and analyze product performance data to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI, blockchain, and related technologies.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or relevant field.
• 3+ years of product management experience, with expertise in the blockchain and/or AI sectors.
• Solid grasp of AI and machine learning concepts, such as neural networks and deep learning.
• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in blockchain and AI projects, like Python or Rust.
• Knowledge of blockchain principles, technologies, and platforms, with specific understanding of the Bittensor network being advantageous.
• Experience with agile methodologies, software development lifecycle, and tools like Jira.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, adept at working within a team setting.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, conflict management, and ability to drive successful project outcomes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a data-driven decision-making approach.
• Familiarity with user research methods and user experience fundamentals.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active involvement in blockchain and/or AI communities, forums, and events.
• Prior engagement with the Bittensor network or similar decentralized AI platforms.
• Advanced knowledge of data analysis, data engineering, and big data technologies.
• Adaptability to fast-paced environments, with a passion for decentralization and emerging technologies.

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $125,000, subject to potential modifications. Beyond base compensation, additional benefits like bonuses, 401K match, and others are available.
