Job Responsibilities
- Ensure continuous operation of applications in the production environment.
- Manage non-production environments like pre-production/staging.
- Deep understanding of application features and all relevant blockchains.
- Collaborate closely with both application and infrastructure engineers to maintain awareness of upcoming production changes.
- Ability to implement fixes, enhancements, and optimizations for applications and infrastructure.
- Proactively identify potential issues affecting production uptime, scalability, or responsiveness from delivery output.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and address application alerts and incidences.
- Manage incident and problem resolutions; conduct post-resolution follow-ups to ensure effective handling of issues.
- Enhance monitoring tools and processes continuously.
- Coordinate disaster recovery testing and audit activities.
- Preserve and support blockchain infrastructure (proficiency in DevOps beneficial).
- For senior roles, engage with stakeholders to address application-related concerns effectively.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or similar fields.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Rust, Javascript, Node.js, or Golang.
- Practical experience supporting applications in prior job roles.
- Detail-oriented with a strong analytical acumen.
- Proficient in log analysis, capable of detecting anomalies and discrepancies effectively.
- Display a keen curiosity and a knack for identifying problems or root causes, and communicate findings adeptly to the team.
- Experience in deploying applications on various cloud platforms such as Azure, Google Cloud, and Amazon Web Services.
- Skilled in developing, deploying, and managing monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus, etc.
- Proficiency in deploying and maintaining container infrastructure using Kubernetes, Docker-Compose, etc.
- Experience in building, deploying, and managing logging tools including Fluentd, ElasticSearch, Kibana, etc.
