Blockchain DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Maintain and provide support for blockchain infrastructure.
• Evaluate and suggest configurations for blockchain software and network setup of nodes operating the blockchain software.
• Gain a profound understanding of Blockchain technology, particularly public Blockchain.
• Educate others on security risks associated with various blockchain technologies.
• Establish and manage continuous DevOps lifecycle and automation for the team.
• Develop and oversee cloud computing workloads while ensuring cloud security posture.

Software engineers or system administrators interested in blockchain, automation, and infrastructure are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or relevant field; candidates with less experience will be considered for a Junior position.
• Basic understanding of blockchain (experience in deploying blockchain is a bonus).
• Proficiency in deploying on various cloud platforms such as Amazon, Azure, and Google.
• Experience in developing and deploying infrastructure as code using tools like Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, and Ansible.
• Expertise in deploying and maintaining container infrastructures with Kubernetes, docker-compose, etc.
• Skilled in building, deploying, and maintaining monitoring tools like Grafana and Prometheus.
• Competent in establishing, deploying, and managing logging tools like Fluentd, ElasticSearch, and Kibana.
• Solid grasp of traditional security operations areas such as Linux, Networking, Firewall, IDS/IPS.
• Capable of effectively troubleshooting and debugging issues with a methodical approach to root cause analysis.
• Strong team player with a proactive attitude towards learning from both successes and failures.
• Keen interest in blockchain's future and comfort in dealing with ambiguity.
