About the Role
In this position, you will be investigating and responding to various hacks, scams, and exploits within the Web3 space. Your primary responsibilities will involve sharing insights on the latest threats in the cryptocurrency realm through informative posts and blogs. Using a combination of OSINT techniques and blockchain analysis, you will proactively identify emerging risks and analyze malicious activities. Additionally, your role will play a key part in contributing unique data to CertiK's SkyInsights tool. Occasional work during unconventional hours may be necessary due to the nature of this role.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in related fields.
- Proficiency in interpreting on-chain transactions and funds tracing.
- Ability to conduct in-depth investigations across multiple platforms.
- Skill in merging OSINT techniques with blockchain analytics.
- Manage the timely dissemination of on-chain intelligence and the maintenance of internal documents.
- Translate large datasets into compelling visual narratives and aid in decision-making processes.
- Capable of producing clear reports and presenting findings impartially.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience or keen interest in intelligence or investigations within an open-source environment.
- Conduct security research on breaches, hacks, and other incidents.
- Familiarity with data visualization techniques.
- Knowledge of Python or any programming language for data analysis is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Willingness to share innovative ideas and adapt to new concepts.
The exact compensation for this position will be based on the qualifications and experience of successful candidates.
