Description
Responsibilities
- Primary responsibilities include ensuring the continuous operation of the application in Production and managing non-production environments.
- Ensure comprehensive knowledge of application features and all supported blockchains.
- Collaborate with application and infrastructure engineers to understand upcoming deployments to production environments.
- Execute fixes, enhancements, and optimizations on applications and infrastructure.
- Identify and address potential issues that could impact production uptime, scalability, or responsiveness.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and address application alerts and issues.
- Manage incidents and problems, following up post-resolution to confirm complete resolution.
- Enhance monitoring tools and processes continuously.
- Coordinate disaster recovery testing and audits.
- Maintain and support blockchain infrastructure.
- Communicate with stakeholders on application issues for senior team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proficiency in blockchain and programming languages like Rust, JavaScript, Node.js, or Golang.
- Essential working or project experience in Web 3, cryptocurrency, or blockchain domains.
- Prior experience supporting applications.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to identify anomalies in logs.
- Curiosity, problem-solving skills, and effective communication within the team.
- Experience deploying on various cloud platforms (Azure, Google, Amazon).
- Competence in building, deploying, and maintaining monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, etc.).
- Experience with container infrastructures (Kubernetes, docker-compose, etc.).
- Proficiency in developing and maintaining logging tools (Fluentd, ElasticSearch, Kibana, etc.).
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code technologies (Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, Ansible, etc.).
- Familiarity with blockchain concepts and knowledge of at least one blockchain is advantageous.
- Excellent written communication skills in English.
