Business Analyst, Data Operation and Management

As a Business Analyst within the Data Operation and Management team, you play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and availability of our data. Collaborating across teams, you collect, analyze, and maintain data to support informed decision-making and drive business growth. Additionally, you participate in the design and development of our data warehouse, offering it as a product to business users via our big-data infrastructure. Your role involves implementing algorithms to uphold data integrity as business users rely on our data for crucial decisions and operations.

Responsibilities

• Data Collection and Validation: Collaborate with various departments to gather and validate data from multiple sources. Implement validation checks and data quality standards to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Data Maintenance and Cleanup: Regularly update and maintain databases to reflect current information, resolving inconsistencies and errors in data.
• Data Integration: Conduct data integration projects such as data mapping, transformation, and ETL processes. Collaborate with Tech teams on implementing integration solutions.
• Data Governance: Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures, while maintaining detailed documentation of data sources, processes, and lineage.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, or a related field
• Experience working with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and set priorities
• 2+ years of SQL experience
• 2+ years in either Technical Project Management or Data Analytics
• Proficiency in ETL and data warehousing
• Detail-oriented with strong business acumen
• Experience with FinTech startups or financial institutions is beneficial
• Knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau is a plus
