An ideal opportunity awaits for a seasoned business development leader to oversee the go-to-market strategy pertaining to stablecoin issuance and banking solutions within the APAC or MEA region. This role influences the establishment of strategic partnerships with major banks and enterprises, leveraging expertise in areas like Foreign Exchange (FX), institutional lending, and correspondent banking. As the primary driver of stablecoin business growth regionally, you will be central to securing substantial deals by building and nurturing C-level relationships while structuring complex commercial agreements and advising on digital asset integration. Market intelligence gathered in this role directly informs the global product roadmap, harnessing an extensive network within the APAC or MEA financial sector to close pivotal deals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Playing a crucial role within the stablecoins team to fuel the growth and success of Anchorage Digital in the digital currency domain through initiating valuable client relationships and leveraging the company’s stablecoin products and services.
- Actively championing Anchorage Digital’s stablecoin solutions while creating a reputation as a trusted partner for issuance and integration.
- Providing vital client insights and market intelligence on the use cases of stablecoins to contribute to the product roadmap and business strategy.
Qualifications:
- Profound technical understanding of blockchain applications and digital assets in addressing real-world inter-bank obstacles, including familiarity with fund flows, settlement mechanisms, correspondent banking, and cross-border payments.
- A strong network of contacts within the global banking and financial ecosystem of APAC or MEA, particularly with key decision-makers.
- Knowledge of existing and potential stablecoin issuers in the region, alongside awareness of regulatory frameworks and prominent entities.
- Over 10 years of experience in managing institutional client engagement, comprising opportunity identification, structuring complex deals, guiding transactions towards completion, and ensuring a successful onboarding process.
- Aptitude for working in a dynamic startup setting, alongside exceptional communication skills and sales proficiency.

- In-depth expertise in the global payments landscape, encompassing correspondent banking models and enterprise structures, with a keen focus on regional market peculiarities and regulatory frameworks.
