Polymer Labs is on a mission to establish a foundation for the new internet that is neutral, open, and permissionless. As a Business Development Associate with Polymer Labs, you will take charge of building the ecosystem by engaging with the community and forming partnerships. You will cultivate collaborations to expand Polymer's cross-chain communication to prominent blockchain projects and decentralized applications, fostering a seamlessly interconnected blockchain ecosystem akin to the internet.
Your core responsibilities include initiating and nurturing partnerships with key industry players, effectively conveying technical information to potential partners, tailoring solutions for non-IBC-enabled chains, maintaining client relationships, negotiating contracts with partner projects, and representing Polymer Labs at industry events.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience in business development in blockchain, crypto, or fintech industry
- Strong understanding of blockchain technology and related concepts
- Exceptional communication skills
- Experience in establishing partnerships and achieving business targets
- Ability to adapt in a startup environment and take ownership of responsibilities
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Passion for blockchain technology and industry potential
- Existing network in blockchain and cryptocurrency industry is a plus
