Business Development Executive (APAC)
Working globally across eight countries on three continents, Notabene is a remote-first team comprising 40 employees dedicated to integrating cryptocurrency into everyday economic transactions. As a regulatory technology (reg-tech) firm, our tools are utilized by both crypto organizations and traditional financial institutions to minimize transaction risks and ensure secure crypto transfers. Notabene plays a crucial role in enabling the crypto ecosystem and has facilitated over half a trillion dollars in transactions.
In October 2024, we announced a significant $14.5M Series B funding round led by DRW, indicating our promising trajectory as a leading global platform for compliant crypto transactions. Backed by prominent investors like Y Combinator, Jump Capital, Castle Island, and Green Visor Capital, Notabene is rapidly expanding, seeking individuals to contribute to shaping the future of the crypto industry.
Founded in 2020 to address FATF's Crypto Travel Rule, Notabene's SafeTransact product is a user-friendly platform empowering clients to detect and prevent high-risk crypto activities proactively. We are currently seeking an experienced Business Development Executive in the Asia Pacific region to identify, qualify, and secure high-value enterprise clients. Responsibilities include driving the sales process from lead generation to closure within a designated territory, presenting new opportunities, and navigating evolving regulations and market demands within the fintech sector. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with compliance and business operations teams at crypto firms and fintech organizations, addressing complex challenges and urgent needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expand revenue and market share within an assigned territory across various customer segments
- Lead the sales process from initial discovery to negotiation and closure
- Stay informed on industry developments, target clients, and territory-specific changes
- Collaborate internally on client proposals and product demonstrations
- Develop compelling value propositions for Notabene's products and services
- Engage with partners to enhance outreach and drive adoption
- Meet or exceed quarterly revenue goals
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline
- Represent Notabene at industry events and conferences
- Willingness to travel as necessary
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in enterprise SaaS sales or business development in crypto or virtual asset management
- Proven track record in selling to C-Suite executives, product management, and compliance teams
- Direct experience managing enterprise accounts in FinTech or RegTech
- Ability to adapt quickly to evolving regulatory changes in the crypto industry
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, adept at engaging stakeholders at all organizational levels
