The Business Development team at Edge & Node is driven to advance web3 technology and enhance the global reach of The Graph Network. We are looking for a proactive manager with a strong inclination towards web3 and a deep understanding of The Graph to lead our Business Development / Partnerships team. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter, passionate about web3, and focused on driving network growth while ensuring the team achieves its quarterly objectives. Candidates should possess a robust network within both blockchain and traditional industries. While a preferred location is within the United States time zone, candidates from all locations are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise the BD + partnerships team, establishing individual development plans and spearheading new business and growth initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with the CEO to craft and execute business strategies aligned with Edge & Node and The Graph's mission.
  • Assist in managing top accounts by transitioning hosted service users to Graph Network users through decentralized network queries.
  • Oversee the educational process for new dApps on migrating to the network, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Strategically plan key client accounts, serve as an escalation point for performance issues, and collaborate across departments to surpass client expectations.
  • Address and resolve client solution, performance, or operational issues effectively.
  • Continuously assess, clarify, and validate client needs, translating them into actionable plans.
  • Define departmental objectives and strategies, ensuring alignment with client requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to adequately support client initiatives and push for necessary feature enhancements.
  • Play a key role in expanding The Graph Network's reach by forming partnerships with compatible chains in the web3 ecosystem and executing strategic business development efforts to grow The Graph Network's user base.
  • Proficient in public speaking to contribute to branding efforts for Edge & Node and The Graph.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in Partnerships or Business Development within the web3 sector.
  • Ideally, 5-10 years of experience with a track record of managing mid-sized teams in strategic and action-oriented roles.
  • Strong ability to liaise effectively with executive leadership, product, and marketing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record in successful sales and relationship management.
  • Detail-oriented, data-driven, with exceptional problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
  • Ideally, prior experience in web3 development, working with blockchain protocols, foundations, and companies in a business development capacity, with a solid understanding of The Graph and related blockchain technology.
  • Demonstrated ability to close deals amicably, with a well-established network in the industry

About The Graph:

The Graph serves as the comprehensive indexing and query layer of web3, with the self-service experience for developers unveiled in July 2021. Developers build and deploy open APIs, known as subgraphs, that applications can query via GraphQL on multiple networks. The Graph supports data indexing from various networks, including Ethereum, NEAR, Arbitrium, Optimism, and others, with more networks forthcoming. With thousands of subgraphs deployed, developers have created APIs for applications like Uniswap, Synthetix, and more. Developers can utilize subgraphs to efficiently present data in UIs and make them available for others to access.

We are looking for a Senior DS/ML Engineer to help us make data-driven decisions across fraud detection, Lightning Network liquidity optimization, user behavior modeling, and risk scoring for the crypto card.
You won't just build models — you'll help shape the ML infrastructure of a fast-growing crypto-payments startup.
What You'll Do
Fraud & Risk ML — Develop anomaly detection models, transaction scoring for withdrawals, and real-time predictive rules to flag suspicious activity.
Lightning Network optimization — Build models to optimize payment routing, channel liquidity management, and predict channel health.
Crypto card infrastructure — Create credit risk models and user scoring for card issuance without traditional credit history.
LTV & churn prediction — Forecast user behavior to improve retention and conversion, especially in low-crypto-adoption countries.
