Overview
Our client, a growing cryptocurrency exchange platform, is dedicated to transforming digital asset trading with cutting-edge solutions and strategic collaborations. They are in search of an experienced Business Development Manager to spearhead expansion by forming key partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in the cryptocurrency domain. This position entails cultivating and nurturing connections with influential individuals in the crypto community to bolster market presence and gain new users.
Responsibilities
- Identify and initiate contact with potential KOLs, crypto influencers, and industry thought leaders in the cryptocurrency sector
- Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for partnering with KOLs to boost platform usage
- Negotiate and oversee partnership arrangements with influencers and content creators
- Establish and manage a database of KOL relationships while monitoring key metrics on partnership performance
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure alignment of KOL activities with the overall marketing strategy
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitor strategies related to KOL engagements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a relevant field
- At least 3 years of business development experience, preferably within cryptocurrency or fintech industries
- Demonstrated success in establishing and maintaining strategic partnerships
- Profound knowledge of the cryptocurrency market, blockchain technology, and the DeFi ecosystem
- Exceptional negotiation skills and aptitude for building strong relationships
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous
