Role Overview:

A Business Development Manager is sought for their profound expertise in Web3 and blockchain technology to oversee operations across the US. The key responsibilities include fostering regional relationships, bolstering our public blockchain ecosystem Horizen and zkVerify, and forging new integrations, partnerships, and distribution channels within the Web3 sector in the US. The role requires engagements with Web3 protocols and developers in the US blockchain arena to drive Horizen and zkVerify's adoption.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Personal Accountability: Spearhead integrations and partnerships for Horizen Labs' flagship products, Horizen and zkVerify, with performance gauged through diverse metrics.

  2. Exploration and Analysis: Initiate discussions with potential partners, delve into Web3 sectors, and share insights with Product, Marketing, and Enterprise Solutions teams.

  3. Preparation and Evaluation: Collaborate across departments to craft tailored blockchain solutions with transparent ROI rationale.

  4. Pitching and Dialogue: Coordinate with various departments to produce proposals for potential alliances and lead deals from negotiation to finalization and beyond.

  5. Client Success: Support existing partners in maximizing the benefits of Horizen Labs' offerings, ensuring guaranteed ROIs and identifying product enhancements that align with partners' needs.

  6. Continuous Enhancement: Refine the company's BD approach and processes to achieve growth objectives.

  7. Team Development: Mentor and nurture a team of enthusiastic business development managers and associates for collective success.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Curiosity, humility, and ingenuity.
  • A fervor for blockchain technology, embracing DeFi applications, NFTs, wallets, DAO tools, and other crucial Web3 components.
  • Preferably, candidates with a technical Master’s degree and a history of forging partnerships in the Web3 domain.
  • Demonstrated ability to devise solutions for enterprise challenges, coupled with in-depth business comprehension.
  • Excellent interpersonal and networking abilities, including established relationships with potential partner networks or experience in engaging with executive leadership.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to articulate complex blockchain concepts to varied audiences.
