The Team: The Binance Pay & Card team aims to revolutionize global financial transactions and management with cutting-edge solutions. Binance Pay allows users to seamlessly send, receive, and pay with cryptocurrencies, shaping the future of digital payments and financial technology.
The Role: We are in search of a motivated Business Development Manager to drive the growth of Binance Pay on a global scale. This position entails identifying valuable merchant partners, conducting commercial negotiations, fostering product adoption, and establishing strategic partnerships to enhance the Binance Pay ecosystem. Collaboration with various teams including Product, Marketing, Partnerships, Compliance, Legal, and regional teams is essential to implement go-to-market strategies and expand payment solutions across different markets.
Responsibilities
- Identify and onboard key merchant partners and strategic collaborators in various industries.
- Manage the end-to-end business development cycle, including prospecting, negotiation, contracting, and integration support.
- Cultivate strong relationships with partners to drive growth and provide operational support.
- Develop strategies to increase transaction volumes and merchant penetration in target markets.
- Coordinate with Product and Tech teams to localize solutions and enhance product-market fit.
- Collaborate with Marketing on joint campaigns to drive adoption and customer acquisition.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitors, regulatory changes, and new payment technologies to inform strategies.
- Create business cases, pitch materials, and reports for leadership.
- Monitor partner performance and KPIs, recommending optimization strategies.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, risk frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in payments or fintech industries with a strong understanding of card/payments.
- Background in partnerships, business development, account management, or project management roles.
- Self-driven with problem-solving skills, result-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent team player with strong collaboration abilities across different teams and regions.
- Strong analytical skills to derive insights from data.
- Fluency in English and Spanish required; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
