C++ Trading Platform Developer

Wintermute, a prominent algorithmic trading firm specializing in digital assets, is seeking a skilled C++ Trading Platform Developer. This role will involve a combination of low-level understanding of computer hardware, high-level system design, and data infrastructure. Candidates should possess a deep interest in technology, a solid understanding of data structures, experience developing client-server network applications, and a proficiency in optimizing code for high performance. A background in algorithmic and quantitative trading is a bonus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Development and enhancement of the global trading platform, incorporating real-time data capture, order entry on multiple exchanges, robust connectivity, and built-in monitoring, primarily using C++ and Python.
• Working on scalable and robust code using C++ and Python to ensure simplicity and understandability.
• Leveraging Linux platforms for workstations and servers, with a focus on technical optimization, robust system architecture, and cryptocurrency trading.

Hard Skills Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in C++ and an ability to demonstrate those skills.
• Experience in understanding the inner workings of C++ standard libraries.
• Strong analytical abilities.
• Knowledge of networking, CPU and memory models, and assembly language is desirable.
