Community Lead
Responsibilities
1. Community Engagement:
Be the face and voice of our protocol within the community, actively engaging with users, developers, and stakeholders across various online and offline platforms.
2. Content Creation:
Develop and curate compelling content, including blog posts, newsletters, and social media updates, to keep the community informed about protocol updates, events, and developments.
3. Moderation:
Maintain a positive and inclusive community environment by moderating discussions, addressing concerns, and ensuring compliance with community guidelines.
4. Educational Initiatives:
Create and organize educational initiatives, webinars, and tutorials to empower community members with the knowledge to maximize their engagement with the protocol.
5. Events and Meetups:
Plan and execute virtual and in-person events, meetups, and hackathons to bring the community together, foster collaboration, and showcase the capabilities of our protocol.
6. Feedback Collection:
Act as the bridge between the community and internal development teams, gathering feedback and insights to help shape the future development of the protocol.
7. Advocacy:
Identify and cultivate protocol advocates within the community, encouraging them to contribute, create content, and become ambassadors for the protocol.
8. Collaboration:
Work closely with marketing, development, and leadership teams to align community initiatives with broader organizational goals and strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Community Manager in the blockchain or protocol space.
- Deep understanding of blockchain technology, protocols, and the broader decentralized ecosystem.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Passion for fostering a positive and engaged community.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs).
- Knowledge of smart contracts, consensus algorithms, and blockchain governance.
- Familiarity with community management tools and analytics.
- Active participation in blockchain and protocol-related forums and communities.
- Enthusiasm for emerging trends in the blockchain and decentralized technology space.
