Content Governance Engineer (Java / Go)
Job Summary:

Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the enhancement and evolution of content governance platforms, anti-abuse tools, and content operation tools.
- Implement integration of recommendation systems with content governance functionalities to develop efficient, stable, and scalable governance pipelines.
- Work closely with governance and product teams to provide content review, risk detection, and policy enforcement system capabilities.
- Establish and enforce content takedown protocols, continuously improving defense mechanisms, effectiveness evaluation, and rule enhancement.
- Develop and enhance content governance rule engines, focusing on optimizing rule configuration, gradual implementation, retrospective assessments, and operational efficiency.
- Deliver systematic governance solutions for various issues like spam, low-quality content, fraud, and undesirable activities.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Java or Go, along with strong engineering design and system development acumen.
- Familiarity with distributed systems, microservice architecture, message queues, caching, and relational databases.
- Understanding of content governance workflows including content review, risk detection, policy enforcement, and efficacy evaluation.
- Knowledge of rule engines or policy platforms to translate governance requirements into configurable system capabilities.
- Familiarity with content platform ecosystem issues, governance strategies, risk management, and adversarial thinking.
- Effective cross-team communication skills for seamless collaboration with different departments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in recommendation systems, content distribution systems, or recommendation engineering.
- Background in content safety, anti-fraud, risk control, or black/gray-market adversarial defense.
- Prior involvement in building extensive content governance platforms, rule engines, or policy operations systems.
- Understanding of applying machine learning models to content review, risk detection, or recommendation governance.
