Copywriter

In this role, you will collaborate with various teams to create, revise, and polish content across all channels, ensuring that it aligns with our brand voice. We are seeking a content expert who can think strategically, write creatively, and optimize content continuously.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing content for Circle's website, blog, and in-product copy, maintaining consistency with the brand voice.
- Utilizing messaging frameworks provided by our brand strategy and product marketing teams to create compelling copy that promotes clarity and engages the audience.
- Contributing to the enhancement of our writing style guide and identifying areas for improvement in our messaging to strengthen our brand voice.
- Crafting engaging content structures and information architecture for our design work.
- Collaborating with creative directors, designers, and marketing leads on campaigns, collateral, web content, and more.
- Creating customer emails with captivating subject lines that drive action.
- Developing copy for promotional campaigns across multiple channels, including landing pages, social media, paid media, branded events, and video.
- Leading the ongoing development of a writing style guide, advocating for its evolution and adherence.

To succeed in this role, you bring:
- 12+ years of creative copywriting experience, preferably in a fast-paced marketing setting.
- A deep appreciation for the power of words, even if you haven't worked in-house or for a startup before.
- The ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including C-suite executives, investors, developers, and cryptocurrency enthusiasts.
- Strong time management skills, allowing you to gather and synthesize inputs quickly, deliver on deadlines, and iterate as required.
- A passion for or familiarity with the crypto space, combined with an eagerness to understand our customers and learn on the job.
- Experience collaborating with legal and compliance teams to create approved terms and brand-specific copy.
- Comfort in managing multiple projects with varying deadlines and engaging cross-functional team members for feedback and alignment.
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication, including presentations and brainstorming sessions.
- Previous experience working with external creative agencies and freelancers.
- An aptitude for problem-solving and the ability to thrive in ambiguous situations.
- Strong proficiency in Google Suite, Slack, and MacOS (preferred).
Additional Information:
- This position may be eligible for day-one PERM sponsorship for qualified candidates.
- Compensation is determined based on factors such as experience, skills, and business needs.
- The base pay range for this role is $160,000 - $207,500 per year.
- You will also be eligible for an annual bonus target of 17.5%, as well as equity and benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plans.
