What You'll Be Responsible For:
Working closely with our designers, channel owners, product marketing team, and marketing leads, you will ideate, write, and edit various content pieces to establish a consistent and concise brand voice across all channels. We are seeking a content, performance, and brand advocate who can think conceptually, write creatively, question strategically, and continuously optimize.
What You'll Work On:
- Creating concise content for Circle's website, blog, and in-product copy, aligning them with the brand's voice as necessary.
- Utilizing messaging frameworks provided by our brand strategy and product marketing teams, extracting value propositions, and converting them into compelling copy that prioritizes clarity and engagement.
- Contributing to the development of our writing style guide, creating rules specific to different market segments and regions and identifying opportunities to enhance our brand voice.
- Leveraging storytelling techniques to create compelling content hierarchy and information architecture in all our design work.
- Collaborating with creative directors, designers, and marketing leads to devise fresh creative strategies for campaigns, collateral materials, web content, etc.
- Creating customer emails that are engaging, actionable, and testable, using eye-catching subject lines.
- Developing effective, multi-channel campaign copy for landing pages, social media, paid media, branded events, videos, and more.
- Leading the ongoing development of a writing style guide, contributing to its evolution and actively championing its use.

What You'll Bring to Circle:
- Minimum of 12 years of creative copywriting experience, preferably in a fast-paced, results-oriented, creative marketing environment.
- A genuine passion for the power of words, even if you have not previously worked in-house or for a startup.
- Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, ranging from C-suite executives to institutional investors, developers, policy makers, and crypto enthusiasts.
- Strong ability to quickly gather and synthesize information, delivering and iterating on copy to meet tight deadlines.
- An interest in or knowledge of the crypto space, with a proactive desire to understand our customers, interview internal stakeholders, and continually stay informed.
- Experience collaborating with legal and compliance teams to develop approved terms and phrases, while ensuring brand copy consistently aligns with these guidelines.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects with different deadlines, collaborating with cross-functional leads to ensure alignment throughout.
- Active participant in strategic kickoffs and creative reviews, with a background in working with agile teams and adapting quickly to changes.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, able to express your ideas clearly in presentations and brainstorming sessions, in addition to written materials.
- Experience working with external creative agencies and freelancers.
- Proactive in the face of ambiguity, able to adapt to new challenges and problem-solve effectively.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Slack, and MacOS is preferred.
Additional Information:
- This position offers day-one PERM sponsorship for eligible candidates.
- Circle has a comprehensive compensation package that takes into account various factors, including experience, skills, qualifications, and business needs.
- Base pay range: $160,000 - $207,500.
- Annual bonus target: 17.5%.
- Benefits include equity, medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). We also have a discretionary vacation policy, 10 days of paid sick leave per year, and 11 paid holidays per year in the U.S.
