What you’ll be responsible for:
In collaboration with designers, channel owners, product marketing team, and marketing leads, you will create and refine content across various channels, ensuring clarity, conciseness, and a consistent voice. You will advocate for content performance and the brand, thinking conceptually, writing creatively, critically questioning strategies, and continuously optimizing.
What you'll work on:
- Writing concise content for Circle's corporate website, blog, and in-product copy while aligning them with the brand's voice.
- Utilizing messaging frameworks provided by brand strategy and product marketing teams to create compelling copy that highlights value propositions, aiming for clarity and engagement.
- Driving the evolution of the writing style guide, creating rules specific to various segments and regions, and identifying areas for improvement to enhance the brand's voice.
- Employing storytelling techniques to develop captivating content hierarchy and information architecture in design work.
- Collaborating with creative directors, designers, and marketing leads to devise innovative strategies for campaigns, collateral materials, and web content.
- Crafting engaging and action-oriented customer emails with attention-grabbing subject lines.
- Developing effective copy for promotional multi-channel campaigns, including landing pages, social media, paid media, branded events, and videos.
- Taking the lead in continuously evolving and championing a writing style guide.

What you’ll bring to Circle:
- 12+ years of experience in creative copywriting, preferably in a fast-paced, results-driven marketing environment.
- An obsession with words and their power, regardless of previous in-house or startup experience.
- Ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders, ranging from C-suite executives to crypto enthusiasts, institutional investors, policymakers, and developers.
- Demonstrated agility in gathering and synthesizing information, delivering and iterating on copy to meet deadlines.
- Passion for or knowledge of the crypto sphere and an eagerness to understand customer needs, interview internal stakeholders, and adapt quickly.
- Experience collaborating with legal and compliance teams to develop approved terms/phrases, alignment on rationale/nuances, and consistent brand copy that follows guidelines.
- Flexibility and adeptness in managing multiple projects with varying timelines, collaborating with cross-functional leads for course correction and consensus.
- Active participation in strategic kickoffs and creative reviews, adapting swiftly within agile teams.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to express ideas clearly and effectively.
- Experience in collaborating with external creative agencies and freelancers.
- Proactive attitude towards ambiguity, fearlessly seeking solutions.
- Keen attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Slack, and MacOS preferred.
Additional Information:
- This position is eligible for day-one PERM sponsorship for qualified candidates.
- Circle considers a wide variety of factors when determining compensation packages.
- Base pay range: $160,000 - $207,500
- Annual bonus target: 17.5%
