What you'll be responsible for:

Working closely with designers, channel owners, product marketing teams, and marketing leads, you will collaborate on creating, revising, and refining various content to ensure consistency and coherence across all channels. We seek an advocate for content, performance, and the brand who can think conceptually, write creatively, strategize critically, and continuously optimize.

What you'll work on:

  • Developing concise content for Circle's website, blog, and product copy while aligning it with the brand's voice as needed.
  • Utilizing messaging frameworks provided by our brand and product teams to highlight value propositions and convert messaging into effective copy, with an emphasis on clarity and engagement.
  • Contributing to the enhancement of our writing style guide, establishing rules specific to segments and geographic regions, and identifying areas for improvement to strengthen our brand's voice.
  • Applying storytelling techniques to create engaging content hierarchy and information architecture across design projects.
  • Collaborating with creative directors, designers, and marketing leads on fresh creative strategies for campaigns, collateral, web content, etc.
  • Producing captivating and actionable customer emails with attention-grabbing subject lines.
  • Developing persuasive, cross-channel campaign copy for landing pages, social media, paid media, events, videos, and more.
  • Leading the continuous development of a writing style guide and advocating for its adoption and adherence.

What you'll bring to Circle:

  • Over 12 years of experience in creative copywriting, preferably in a fast-paced, results-oriented marketing environment.
  • A deep passion for words and their impact, even if you have never worked internally or for a startup.
  • The ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders, including C-suite executives, institutional investors, developers, policymakers, and crypto enthusiasts.
  • Swift gathering and synthesis of information, enabling prompt delivery and iteration of copy to meet deadlines.
  • Interest in or knowledge of the crypto space, combined with a proactive eagerness to understand our customers, interview internal stakeholders, and continuously learn.
  • Experience collaborating with legal and compliance teams to create approved terms and phrases, align on rationale and nuance, and consistently follow brand guidelines.
  • Comfort working on multiple projects with varying deadlines, effectively coordinating with cross-functional leads for alignment and adjustments.
  • Active participation in strategic kickoffs and creative reviews, with experience working in agile teams and adapting quickly.
  • Strong communication skills, able to express ideas clearly not only in writing but also in presentations and brainstorming sessions.
  • Experience collaborating with external creative agencies and freelancers.
  • Fearlessness in ambiguous situations, proactive problem-solving mindset.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, Slack, and MacOS preferred.

Additional Information:

  • This position is eligible for PERM sponsorship starting from day one for qualified candidates.

Circle is dedicated to creating an inclusive financial future, prioritizing transparency at its core. Compensation is determined based on various factors, such as relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and organizational needs. Please note that compensation ranges may vary by location.

Base Pay Range: $160,000 - $207,500

Annual Bonus Target: 17.5%

Other Benefits: Equity, Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance, 401(k), discretionary vacation policy, 10 days of paid sick leave, and 11 paid holidays per year in the U.S.
