The Role
The Corporate Security Engineer plays an important role within TaxBit's technology and security organizations. They are responsible for building, supporting, and maintaining the IT infrastructure of TaxBit's offices. The primary focus of this role is to ensure the secure deployment and maintenance of IT endpoints, on-premise network equipment, office printers, and application and SaaS licenses. Additionally, the Corporate Security Engineer supports team members both on-site and remotely and is responsible for the life cycle of TaxBit endpoints.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain TaxBit's Identity and Access Management (IAM) solution (Okta)
- Provide IT and Security training and support to new and existing team members
- Troubleshoot and resolve on-premise network issues with the infrastructure team
- Implement and manage TaxBit's Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) system
- Document, track, and resolve service tickets through the ticketing management system
- Gather control evidence for audits and digital forensics needs
- Support team member laptops and devices, including software installation, configuration, and maintenance
- Assist in other initiatives as required
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years' experience managing an IT Support or Help Desk team
- Proven experience in installing, configuring, and supporting software applications
- Experience in managing application licenses and renewals
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and Google Meet Devices
- Familiarity with Okta Workforce Identity
Desired Skills
- Experience in supporting Apple devices
- Knowledge of UEM solutions (e.g., Kandji, Jamf, ManageEngine)
- Proficiency in installing and maintaining remote meeting equipment and software
- Ability to build and develop an asset management program
