Cryptographer (TSS/MPC)
Job Summary:
We are in search of a seasoned Cryptographer well-versed in Threshold Signature Schemes (TSS) and Multi-Party Computation (MPC) to join our team. The Cryptographer will play a vital role in designing and examining implementations of cryptographic algorithms and protocols. Working closely with security professionals, software developers, and product managers, they will ensure the protection of our products and systems against security threats, data breaches, and potential attacks.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, deploy, and sustain cryptographic algorithms and protocols founded on TSS and MPC.
- Carry out ongoing research to remain informed about cryptographic technology advancements and incorporate them as necessary.
- Collaborate with diverse teams to integrate cryptographic solutions into current products and generate new ones.
- Coordinate with software developers to guarantee proper implementation and integration of cryptographic algorithms in software systems.
- Identify potential vulnerabilities in cryptographic systems and offer strategies to diminish associated risks.
- Conduct security assessments and penetration tests to pinpoint and resolve weaknesses in cryptographic systems.
- Create and sustain documentation on cryptographic protocols and implementations.
- Contribute to the establishment of security policies and standards within the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Mathematics, Cryptography, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of five years of cryptography experience, specializing in TSS and MPC.
- Proficient knowledge of cryptographic algorithms and protocols like RSA, ECC, AES, and SHA.
- Experience in designing and executing cryptographic solutions for enterprise-level systems.
- Familiarity with security standards and best practices such as ISO 27001, NIST, and FIPS.
- Proficiency in programming languages like C, C++, Java, or Python is advantageous.
- Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Pay Transparency Notice: Depending on your level and location, the average compensation for this role ranges from $140,000 to $240,000 USD as a base salary. Equity, an annual performance bonus, and the benefits mentioned above are inclusive components of this role's package.
