Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with various teams, including source teams, business users, product managers, and downstream applications to gather requirements.
• Work with subject matter experts and users to understand business processes and challenges, as well as the data from various source systems.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis, data profiling, data mapping, and data validation to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of data.
• Identify root causes of data inconsistencies and process defects and implement corrective actions in a timely manner.
• Analyze data to develop data marts and identify patterns and trends. Automate data collection and aggregation processes.
• Extract data from established sources and create and maintain visualization dashboards/reports using business intelligence tools.
• Recommend, organize, and manage the reporting environment to enhance reusability and facilitate grouping and publishing of reports. Address performance issues.
• Use data storytelling techniques to walkthrough reports' contents and provide data insights to users.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members, such as data engineers, product managers, and operations teams, to provide statistics and data findings for driving business insights.
• Contribute to effort estimation, stakeholder engagement, and process optimization.
• Document process details and deliverables for the team's reference.

Requirements:

• Currently in the first year of graduate studies or the third year of an undergraduate program, majoring in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field focused on analytics.
• Proficient in SQL, familiar with Python programming, and comfortable working with large volumes of data.
• Open to collaborating with diverse business and technical stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Basic understanding of cloud services (preferably AWS), AI/Machine Learning processes, and agile methodology.
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability, with excellent attention to detail.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated, quick to learn and adapt, and able to deliver results.
• Passionate about data, with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Prior internship experience as a data analyst involved in building data marts, visualizations, and advanced data analytics (Data Science/Machine Learning) is advantageous.
• Full-time commitment for a minimum of 6 months preferred.
