- Role Overview
As a Data Analytics Engineer at Flipster, you will play a pivotal role at the crossroads of data engineering and analytics. Your focus will be on translating data into actionable insights that enhance the company's strategic decision-making processes. Collaborating closely with data analysts, business analysts, and cross-functional teams, you will be responsible for designing scalable data models, optimizing queries, and building robust data pipelines that support analytical functions.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, optimize, and deploy data pipelines and models to facilitate reporting, dashboards, and advanced analytics within the BigQuery ecosystem of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Enhance SQL queries and data processing logic to boost performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Contribute to data governance, documentation, and best practices for analytics engineering.
- Ensure data integrity by leveraging data debugging skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with rapidly changing requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with diverse global teams, offering strong communication skills and technical acumen to tackle technical challenges.
Qualifications:
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Have 2-7 years of professional experience.
- Demonstrate high proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience in data modeling for analytics.
- Display strong problem-solving abilities, a quick learning aptitude, and a drive to enhance inefficient processes.
- Possess a positive attitude with the ability to give and receive constructive feedback objectively.
- Foster solid partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Skilled in engaging in conversations in both Korean and English.
Preferred:
- Prior hands-on experience in software development within an industry setting.
- Self-motivated, proactive nature with sharp critical thinking skills.
- Previous exposure to cryptocurrency exchanges or fintech companies.
- Experience working with large-scale datasets on the web.
- Knowledge of distributed computing frameworks.
- Proficiency in Cloud and Big Data platforms like AWS, GCP, Beam, and Spark.
