With a team of 500+ experts spread across various locations, we are committed to creating products and services that facilitate safe buying, storing, swapping, growing, and managing of crypto assets, which includes our popular Ledger hardware wallets.
Embodying key values like pragmatism, audacity, commitment, trust, and transparency, we prioritize data-based decision-making. As part of our data engineering team, we are seeking a Data Engineer to enhance our data pipeline architecture and ensure data flows are efficient and reliable.
Role Overview
- Investigate data from different sources, such as relational databases and APIs, and proficiently transform raw data into valuable insights.
- Uphold code quality by conducting thorough reviews to maintain the resilience and efficiency of data pipelines.
- Monitor data pipelines, promptly address anomalies, and ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in migrating current pipelines from legacy systems to a modern data platform powered by Docker containerized pipelines in AWS and Snowflake.
- Collaborate with the team on data-centric projects like generative AI, API development, and anomalies detection, aligning with your interests.
- Drive innovation by contributing to the enhancement of our data toolkit, valuing creativity, collaboration, and active participation.
Preferred Tech Stack
- ELT: Custom development (Python, SQL), Fivetran, Stitch, Adverity + dbt
- Cloud infrastructure: AWS (MWAA, Lambda, Fargate, S3, CloudWatch, etc.)
- Data Warehouse: Redshift (transitioning to Snowflake)
- Orchestration: Airflow
- BI: Tableau, Mixpanel
- Version Control: Github
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of relevant data engineering experience.
- Proficiency in working with AWS infrastructure.
- Strong command of English language.
- Proficient in SQL and Python with Git conflict resolution skills.
Additional Skills (Bonus)
- Experience with Airflow, dbt, and Snowflake.
- Knowledge of the crypto industry.
