Role Overview:
In this position within the Data Protection Officer (DPO) team, you will play a key role in supporting compliance activities.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the oversight and implementation of compliance programs for different teams, analyze operational constraints and risks, identify necessary measures, monitor projects, devise procedures, etc.
- Manage inquiries from customers and employees regarding their personal data, enhance and automate data request processes.
- Assist in mapping data flows and processing between internal systems and technical service providers, and regularly update processing registers.
- Support in negotiations involving personal data clauses in contracts with service providers and conduct periodic compliance reviews.
- Contribute to monitoring ongoing legal matters, strategy formulation, and liaison with legal representatives.
- Stay abreast of legal developments and craft internal communications for business teams.
Requirements:
- Master's degree with a specialization in personal data law or new technologies law, and prior experience in a legal department, law firm focusing on personal data, or data protection authority.
- Exceptional organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with precision.
- Team-player with outstanding interpersonal abilities and willingness to engage with operational teams.
- Fluent in English for effective international communication and contract work.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace tools.
- Knowledge of blockchain and cryptocurrency is a plus, not mandatory.
Contract Details:
- Type: Apprenticeship/Work-study contract
- Duration: 12 months
- Schedule: 3 days at the company + 2 days at school
- Start Date: September 2024 or earlier
