Job Responsibilities
- Facilitate seamless communication and coordination between central and local compliance teams to ensure alignment on policies and procedures.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all local compliance teams.
- Assist in evaluating the performance of local teams and support skill development efforts.
- Identify and address potential control gaps in compliance with local requirements in collaboration with both local and central compliance teams.
- Monitor and report key local compliance incidents and issues, implementing global controls to mitigate risks effectively.
- Proactively identify control gaps and lead the resolution of conflicts between local and central team policies.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in a legal or compliance role with a deep understanding of relevant regulations and compliance operations.
- At least 2 years of experience in the cryptocurrency industry with a strong grasp of crypto products and services.
- Profound knowledge in AML, Compliance, and Regulatory affairs, especially in managing regulated jurisdictions.
- Demonstrated experience in engaging with regulators and auditors on AML audits and investigations.
- Strong skills in project management and remediation tasks.
- Exceptional ability to build strong relationships with colleagues of diverse backgrounds and at all organizational levels.
