Job Challenges:

We are seeking a proactive DevOps Engineer proficient in transforming complex legacy build pipelines into streamlined, scalable, and automated systems. In this role, you will be tasked with analyzing existing CI/CD workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and leading initiatives to enhance developer efficiency, accelerate delivery times, and bolster system stability.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and optimize legacy CI/CD pipelines by pinpointing inefficiencies and automating manual processes.
• Develop and implement modern CI/CD pipelines incorporating automated testing, security protocols, and streamlined deployments.
• Transition existing infrastructure and build processes to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) utilizing AWS CloudFormation.
• Establish standardized workflows for build and deployment processes across various environments.
• Enhance pipeline visibility through enhanced logging, monitoring, and alert systems for timely feedback.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to enhance build reliability and deployment confidence.
• Lead end-to-end CI/CD improvements, from conceptualizing designs to executing production deployments.
• Actively contribute to refining DevOps practices, tools, and engineering efficiency.

Required Skills:

• 3–5 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation with Python, Bash, and C#.
• Strong coding skills in Python and C#.
• Hands-on experience with AWS CloudFormation for Infrastructure as Code.
• Demonstrated expertise in modernizing or migrating legacy CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
• Solid understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Thorough knowledge of CI/CD concepts, build optimization, and deployment strategies.
• Experience with legacy systems and ability to work independently to solve complex issues.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience implementing security scanning and compliance checks within CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with secrets management and state handling in DevOps environments.
• Background working on cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Previous exposure to high-availability or production-critical settings.
• Prior involvement in establishing DevOps standards or best practices.
