Role Overview
As a DevOps Engineer (SRE) at Flipster, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the seamless deployment, integration, and maintenance of software systems and services. You will implement strategies for continuous deployment, optimize system performance, and collaborate closely with various teams to develop integrated approaches for software and infrastructure development.
Key Responsibilities
- Reproduce and resolve sparse errors, create test code, and ensure stable production application.
- Collaborate with the backend team to analyze and enhance high-latency services continually.
- Optimize DB performance, ensure smooth operations without impacting services, and manage logging, APM support, application-level alert configurations, and dashboards.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in improving backend code and identifying infrastructure bottlenecks.
- Proven troubleshooting and performance analysis skills for applications.
- Ability to define and solve problems proactively.
- Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes operations.
- Proficiency in two or more languages like Python, Rust.
