Director of Customer Success
We are seeking a dynamic Director of Customer Success to lead our customer success team. Collaborating closely with our founders, you will oversee payroll processes involving token grants and craft our customer success strategy. Your primary goal will be to ensure our customers achieve their desired results by driving adoption, retention, and growth.
The ideal candidate is well-suited to a startup environment and is prepared to engage in day-to-day tasks to guarantee client satisfaction. It is essential to have a solid background in payroll, with a preference for experience managing payroll across multiple countries. Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, addressing payroll-related inquiries and resolving routine issues.
- Guide clients through the onboarding process to ensure a seamless transition to our payroll services.
- Troubleshoot payroll discrepancies or errors by collaborating with internal teams and local payroll partners for swift resolution.
- Lead customer implementations and executive interactions.
- Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), identify opportunities for customer growth, enhance product adoption, and drive customer retention.
- Assist in processing employee payroll, ensuring accuracy in wage calculations, deductions, and compliance with local laws.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to guarantee accurate and legally compliant payroll execution, including salary adjustments, bonuses, and deductions.
- Handle day-to-day client issues efficiently, troubleshoot problems, and provide hands-on assistance.
- Act as the main contact for key clients, addressing complex issues and meeting their requirements.
- Collaborate with founders, engineering, product, finance, legal, and payroll teams to align customer success initiatives with other systems.
- Support various projects and tasks as needed in our fast-paced startup setting.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of payroll experience.
- Previous experience in a startup environment is a must.
- Strong problem-solving skills and creative thinking ability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
