Position Overview:

BitGo is currently seeking a Director of Engineering to play a pivotal role within the Prime organization. This individual will contribute to the development of resilient services and take charge of critical projects independently or with limited supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Develop innovative trading and financing solutions catering to a diverse range of clients, spanning from crypto-native to Fortune 500 companies.
• Ensure exceptional user experience across Prime Trade and Financing products.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Sales, and other key stakeholders to establish and execute product and technical visions for Prime Engineering.
• Mentor engineering managers to nurture the next wave of senior engineering leaders at BitGo.
• Cultivate a culture across engineering that reflects values of open communication, collaboration, accountability, craftsmanship, and client-centric focus.

Skills & Experience:

Required Skills & Experience:

• Significant engineering leadership experience in financial services, with a preference for trade or financing exposure.
• A minimum of 14 years in software engineering, including at least 6 years in a managerial role leading engineers and 2 years overseeing managers.
• Strong inclination towards automation and development of tools for enhancing workflow efficiency.
• Proficiency in debugging and understanding complex system interconnections.
• Track record of recruiting top engineering talent.
• Experience collaborating in a cross-functional environment to drive departmental objectives.
• Self-motivated with rapid adaptability and decisive decision-making skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong interest in cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology.

Note: The salary for this role ranges between $205,000 - $275,000 USD, alongside equity, annual performance bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package.
