Display Advertising Director - Programmatic
As a Programmatic Director, you will be responsible for developing and leading the global programmatic advertising strategy to drive user acquisition, retention, and engagement with a focus on achieving high ROI and long-term growth. Your role will involve championing innovation by leveraging advanced technologies like AI, machine learning, and automation to enhance campaign targeting, creative execution, and optimization. You will play a key role in expanding the programmatic advertising roadmap, identifying growth opportunities in different markets, platforms, and ad formats.
In this position, you will establish and uphold best practice standards for programmatic advertising, covering aspects such as frequency capping, remarketing flows, brand safety, and dynamic creative optimization. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including marketing, creative, product, and data teams, will be crucial for delivering impactful advertising strategies. Additionally, you will provide strategic leadership, mentorship, and support to direct reports while fostering collaboration among internal and external stakeholders.

Additionally, overseeing dynamic creative optimization (DCO) to tailor messaging and creatives for various audience segments will be a key responsibility. Collaboration with creative teams to explore innovative programmatic ad formats and the use of predictive analytics and AI-powered tools to identify high-value audiences are critical tasks.
Researching and testing cutting-edge advertising technologies and executing optimization strategies will also be integral aspects of the role.
Execution & Optimization:
Management and expansion of the programmatic DSP ecosystem to enhance campaign reach and performance will be part of the responsibilities. Leading media strategy and buying across various types of deals and implementing automation processes for workflow streamlining are key tasks involved.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
Developing robust data frameworks for audience segmentation, predictive modeling, and user behavior analysis to drive personalization and engagement are essential components of the role. Additionally, ensuring rigorous tracking and attribution across multiple platforms and monitoring industry trends for innovation in programmatic advertising strategies will be integral responsibilities.
Reporting & Insights:
Delivering quality reports and presentations to executive stakeholders, conducting competitive analyses, and offering insights on campaign successes and areas for growth are key aspects of this role.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in programmatic advertising with a focus on user acquisition.
- Experience in TradFi, Crypto, Sports, or i-gaming in North America and Europe markets is a strong advantage.
- Proven leadership skills with experience in managing teams and complex operations.
- Commercial mindset with a successful track record in programmatic advertising channel specialization.
- Familiarity with global acquisition strategies and execution.
- Proven success in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
