- BitGo is seeking an Engineering Manager to join the Prime organization, focusing on constructing resilient and robust services while leading critical projects with minimal supervision. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, with work from the Palo Alto office on Wednesdays and remote options for the rest of the week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of skilled engineers, fostering a culture of open communication, technical excellence, and accountability.
- Oversee the quality and timely delivery of the team’s projects, ensuring operational efficiency.
- Manage all technologies and services supporting BitGo Prime, such as trading, lending, and settlement.
- Act as a vital liaison between engineering teams and product operations to align technology initiatives with overall business objectives.
- Drive key performance indicators related to internal processes efficiency, client experience, and service availability.
- Promote documentation and knowledge sharing practices within the team.
- Collaborate with management and product teams to prioritize and execute on roadmap objectives in line with company goals.
- Align team strategies with broader company vision and client requirements.
Skills & Experience:

Required:
- Experience as a manager or similar senior role within an engineering department.
- Extensive background in areas like digital wallets, clearing, lending, or trading systems.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills with a focus on automation and workflow optimization.
- Proficient in debugging complex systems and acquiring top engineering talent.
- Capacity to collaborate cross-functionally and make quick, informed decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent with thorough communication skills and cryptocurrency knowledge.
Preferred:
- Proficiency in technologies like NodeJS, TypeScript, Go, Postgres, React, and Kafka.
- Experience with microservices, service-oriented architectures, large-scale applications, and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with Containers, Kubernetes, and financial industry practices.

Pay Transparency Notice:
Based on your role and location, your compensation is estimated between $185,000 - $235,000 USD base salary, in addition to equity, performance bonuses, and other benefits provided with the role.
