The exceptional Custodia team consists of experienced individuals excelling in both bitcoin and traditional financial services.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of the daily operations of the engineering team
  • Maintenance and enhancement of the engineering roadmap and sprint timetable
  • Management of the overall system architecture, including development and upkeep
  • Hands-on management and coding of source code and software systems
  • Conducting code reviews
  • Managing release processes, monitoring, and deployments
  • Recruitment, development, and retention of a proficient software engineering team
  • Conducting weekly or as-needed one-on-one sessions with the engineering staff
  • Active participation in technical dialogs with engineers and other business stakeholders
  • Troubleshooting, debugging, ticket management, backlog maintenance, etc.
  • Primarily, the role focuses on constructing and delivering the products and services necessary to achieve the company's mission.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated history of creating and deploying software products to the market
  • Extensive background in developing scalable software applications within an online SaaS environment, preferably utilizing our software stack or diverse stacks
  • Proficiency in hands-on architecture, design, and software development
  • Prior success in leading and supervising engineering teams, showcasing robust people management abilities
  • Confirmed achievements in establishing highly motivated, results-oriented engineering teams
  • Experience working remotely, as we operate with a remote and geographically dispersed engineering team
  • Keen interest in cryptocurrencies and digital assets
  • Strong sense of craftsmanship and security
  • Knowledge in application security engineering, reverse engineering, intrusion detection, cryptanalysis, applied cryptography, etc.
  • Comfort with having the camera activated during meetings

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience with Python, Django, Terraform, Docker, TypeScript, JavaScript, React, PostgreSQL, CI/CD pipelines, and knowledge of bitcoin or other relevant cryptocurrencies
