Role Overview:
- Seeking a senior product engineer capable of enhancing user and developer experiences within the Polkadot protocol. This individual will lead a specialized team focused on simplifying the Polkadot initiation process, requiring a curious nature, hands-on experimentation, and contributions towards documentation and tools. Familiarity with other Web3 products is advantageous.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement products that enhance user experiences for newcomers to Polkadot.
- Support fellow engineers by creating contributions to streamline the initial engagement process.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a product-oriented mindset, capable of understanding user perspectives.
- A proven track record of product design from concept to deployment.
- Collaborative nature to coordinate with different teams, such as protocol engineers and marketing, for successful product launches.
- Strong engineering skills with a sense of curiosity and hands-on learning approach.
- Familiarity with various Web3 tech stacks and their target users.
- Capable of leading a small team effectively.
