Engineering Team Lead - Consumer Services (f/m)

A substantial portion of the world's crypto assets are safeguarded through our Ledger Nanos. With headquarters in Paris and Vierzon, and additional offices in various countries, we have a dedicated team of over 600 professionals working on diverse products and services designed to enable both individuals and businesses to securely manage crypto assets, which includes our Ledger hardware wallets with a strong global presence.

The Consumer Services unit is responsible for providing all Web3 services to Ledger users, allowing them to carry out various crypto activities securely through Ledger Live. While Ledger is not an exchange platform, we collaborate with service providers offering exchange services to create a comprehensive crypto platform.

Responsibilities:

• Develop reliable, scalable, and high-performance services to enhance Ledger's products.
• Lead, mentor, and oversee a skilled technical team of at least 4 members.
• Bring in your technical expertise to tackle evolving challenges in the Web3 landscape with innovative solutions.
• Collaborate closely with the Product team to understand end-user needs and translate them into viable technical solutions.
• Act as the technical liaison for the business line manager, contributing to roadmap definition and partnership engagements.
• Coordinate with other technical teams for smooth integrations, optimization, and efficient service performance.
• Conduct performance benchmarks, identify bottlenecks, and optimize service efficiency.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions through rigorous testing, documentation, and demonstrations.
• Design and implement monitoring systems to detect anomalies in services.
• Utilize CI/CD for secure deployment workflows.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in web application development.
• Minimum of 2 years managing and leading technical teams.
• Proficiency in React, Vercel, and Next, with significant hands-on experience.
• Familiarity with continuous integration/deployment methods.
• Interest in cryptocurrencies and a desire to work with blockchain technology are advantageous.
