Your primary focus in this role will be on user-facing financial AI and equity research scenarios within Binance. You will be responsible for identifying and developing data and knowledge algorithms critical for long-term strategic value creation. Leveraging technology such as large language models, natural language processing, machine learning, and reinforcement learning, you will enhance the system's ability to comprehend user queries, identify financial entities, extract temporal information, provide relevant and timely information, and generate measurable and optimizable outcomes. Managing the entire lifecycle - from defining problems and data development to model training and production evaluation - will be a key aspect of your role.

Responsibilities

• Identify high-value financial data algorithm problems that warrant in-house development, evaluating different approaches in terms of effectiveness, cost, and long-term sustainability.

• Design, train, evaluate, and optimize financial data and knowledge algorithms for production applications, encompassing areas such as document understanding, entity recognition, event detection, classification, deduplication, and quality scoring.

• Develop algorithms for multi-channel retrieval, relevance modeling, and financial ranking to dynamically balance various factors including relevance, timeliness, source authority, and content quality, all based on user queries.

• Build datasets, labeling systems, and evaluation benchmarks for various financial data categories while addressing biases, noise, conflicts, and market changes.

• Select and optimize suitable methods for different tasks, whether large language models, NLP models, graph algorithms, traditional machine learning, or rule-based approaches, with a focus on accuracy, recall, explainability, timeliness, and cost.

• Collaborate with Financial AI Engineers to integrate algorithms into a unified knowledge processing and retrieval pipeline, ensuring reliable deployment into production.

• Harness techniques like supervised fine-tuning, reinforcement learning, preference optimization, and semi-supervised learning to continually enhance data processing modeling and financial data agents.

• Establish offline and online evaluation frameworks to assess accuracy, recall, ranking quality, timeliness, consistency, and generalization across markets, resolving errors at different levels effectively.

Requirements

• Previous experience in financial data, brokerage, trading platforms, research institutions, wealth management, or fintech-related algorithm development.

• Proficiency in activities like extracting, linking, event detection, or quality evaluation for financial content such as earnings reports, announcements, research reports, and news.

• Experience in financial large model post-training, reinforcement learning, knowledge graphs, multimodal document understanding, or data agent optimization.

• Familiarity with active learning, weak supervision, human feedback loops, large-scale data labeling, and evaluation systems.

• Experience in model transfer across markets or languages, or in independent evaluation and calibration for diverse markets.
