Description
Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements in compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Handle local tax assessments and reporting according to legal requirements.
- Manage business capital funding procedures, process controls, and account management.
- Cultivate and maintain banking relationships across local and international banks.
- Conduct financial analytical reviews, revenue, and budget management alongside internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with external auditors or internal compliance/audit functions when necessary.
- Lead finance-related functions and implementation of accounting policies.
- Conduct Crypto accounting and regulatory reporting activities.
- Continuously enhance accounting policies and procedures for optimal efficiency.
- Provide pricing analysis for timely decision-making on product pricing.
- Present accurate financial statements and management reports in line with standards and policies.
- Ensure adherence to local and international regulatory requirements, including reporting to regulatory authorities like FATCA/CRS.
- Identify opportunities for business and operational improvements to increase efficiency.
- Supervise banking payments, payables, receivables, and reconciliations.
- Prepare cash forecasts and evaluate variance from actual figures regularly.
- Recognize and propose solutions to mitigate risks to the business.
- Analyze market trends and competitors to inform business decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or business administration required.
- In-depth knowledge of local accounting practices; ACCA/ACA certification is a plus.
- At least 6 years of experience in relevant roles within financial, banking, or related industries.
- Familiarity with financial and trading industry regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software, payroll procedures, and management systems.
- Self-motivated with the ability to expand the financial function independently.
- Advanced skills in Google Sheets and MS Excel.
- Able to work autonomously and meet deadlines with exceptional results.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a global team.
