Responsibilities
Financial Analysis
- Conduct thorough financial analysis, including financial modeling, scenario analysis, and evaluating market trends

- Partner with the Product team to assess new products and initiatives
- Create and maintain comprehensive financial models to facilitate strategic decision-making and capital allocation

Financial Planning and Budgeting

- Provide guidance and support in developing departmental budgets, while monitoring expenses against budgeted targets

Financial Reporting and Presentations
- Prepare accurate and insightful financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, for internal stakeholders and senior management
- Present financial analysis findings and reports to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommending strategies to optimize financial performance
- Establish and maintain standardized reporting templates and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making across the organization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent reporting and alignment of financial information
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred
- 4+ years of experience in financial analysis, planning, and budgeting, preferably in financial technology, crypto, DeFi, Web3, or related sectors, with exposure to a managerial role
- Approximately 10 years of professional work experience, ideally including experience in investment banking or management consulting
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing scalable FP&A processes
- In-depth knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and forecasting techniques
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills; familiarity with data visualization tools is a plus

The base pay for this role is expected to range between $175,000 and $215,000 USD. This expectation is based on information at the time of posting. The final compensation for a successful candidate will be determined based on factors such as skillset, experience, and qualifications.

Your Mission
In the role of a Business Monitoring Intern, you will play a vital part in supporting daily operations by conducting data analysis, presenting valuable insights, and contributing to strategic decision-making processes. You will be responsible for understanding our business needs and delivering comprehensive, standardized reports to various stakeholders within the organization.
What You’ll do
Conduct thorough data analysis, extract data, and create visualizations to meet the internal stakeholders' requirements.
Deepen your understanding of Bitpanda’s data landscape.
Learn to utilize Business Process Management Systems (BPMS) and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) techniques to automate operational procedures.
Assist in data-oriented projects such as KPI dashboards, alerts for critical business occurrences, and performance tracking.
Who You Are
Hold a completed degree with a specialization in data analytics.
Demonstrate a proactive attitude towards gathering requirements from different stakeholders to develop adaptable solutions for operational needs.
Possess practical experience with SQL and Python (specifically Pandas & Matplotlib). Familiarity with tools like Gitlab, Snowflake, Dataspell, Datagrip, Tableau, or Power BI is advantageous.
Have fundamental knowledge of LLms.
