Responsibilities

Conduct LQA to ensure language quality and maintain glossary and style guide

Address linguistic bugs when necessary

Linguistic proficiency required in the following languages: French, Canadian French, German, Dutch, Greek, Simplified Chinese

Requirements

Must be a native English speaker with a high level of proficiency

Minimum of 3 years of experience in localization as a translator, reviewer, or editor

Strong grasp of grammar and excellent language skills essential

Thorough knowledge of Fintech, cryptocurrency, DeFi, and Blockchain

Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks is crucial

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented individual fluent in both German and French to fill the role of a Localization Manager. This position will involve supporting our multilingual content operations across various platforms like web, app, and marketing channels. As part of a dynamic editorial and growth team, you will utilize our internal AI model for generating initial transcreations and then refining, subediting, publishing, and ensuring all content aligns with our brand and compliance standards. This role encompasses AI-assisted localization, transcreation, editorial subediting, CMS publishing, and project management, making it perfect for someone who can seamlessly navigate between language accuracy, creative expression, and operational efficiency.

Please be aware that this is a contract-based position consisting of 2-3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

Transcreation & Localization:

Adapt and transcreate marketing and product content from English into German and French while maintaining a natural tone and cultural authenticity.

Review, refine, and perform QA on translations generated by internal AI systems or external linguists to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.

Transcreate content into other essential languages for internal review and subediting.

Ensure all localized materials in German and French adhere to brand voice, terminology, and style guides.

Publish localized content via the CMS platform and manage end-to-end localization workflows.

Cultural & Market Relevance:

Evaluate and adjust creative concepts to suit local cultural nuances and consumer expectations.

Offer local insights and recommendations to global growth and editorial teams regarding market-specific preferences and sensitivities.

Serve as a linguistic and cultural bridge for the DACH and French markets.

Compliance & Quality Assurance:

Work collaboratively with Compliance and Legal teams to ensure all content complies with local regulatory standards and appropriately adapted disclaimers.

Stay updated on regional compliance requirements.

Review all marketing copy, campaigns, and customer communications for accuracy, tone, and compliance approval.

Project Management:

Manage localization timelines and deliverables across various content streams.

Coordinate with editors, designers, and marketing leads to facilitate smooth publishing workflows.

Monitor localization metrics and suggest improvements to processes or AI models.

Requirements:

Native-level fluency in German and French along with fluency in English.

Demonstrated experience in localization, transcreation, or editorial roles, particularly within finance or regulated industries.

Strong editorial acumen balancing precision and creative flair.

Proficiency in CMS tools.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Comfort with utilizing AI-assisted translation tools.

Create visually appealing assets that align with brand standards across different platforms

Develop and manage automated workflows for content creation, publishing, UTM tagging, and analytics integration

Establish libraries of prompts and style guidelines to facilitate the production of reusable content

Collaborate with Growth and Advertising teams on creative initiatives for campaigns and A/B testing

Maintain organized asset systems, including version control, naming conventions, briefs, and approvals

Requirements
Must-Haves:
Proficiency in n8n or Zapier and experience with at least one image or video generation tool

A portfolio showcasing visual sophistication and consistency with brand identity

Basic understanding of HTML and CSS, familiarity with CSVs, APIs, and webhooks

Knowledge of TikTok, Reels, and Shorts formats

Strong written communication skills and the ability to tell concise stories effectively
Nice-to-Haves:
Experience with tools like Figma, After Effects, CapCut, Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, ElevenLabs, and Descript

Background in creating prompt chains or function calling in AI platforms

Basic knowledge of SQL or Google Sheets query functions
