About the Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced engineer to help enhance our core products, including developer tools, libraries, and SDKs. This is a fully remote position where you will collaborate with a skilled team to design and implement important features to support our community. Join our rapidly growing startup and work with a diverse technology stack alongside a globally distributed team.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development, testing, and upkeep of our developer tools.
- Play a role in the development and maintenance of key products like Clarinet and Chainhook.
- Implement robust monitoring and testing procedures to meet security and performance standards.
- Create blockchain-supporting tools and utilities such as CLI clients and tools for exploring, monitoring, and debugging.
- Work with other teams on introducing new features for the Stacks blockchain.
- Provide support to developers via Discord and communicate product releases.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in product development.
- Strong background in engineering fundamentals like scalability, architecture, testing, and code versioning.
- Proficiency in at least one of the following: Typescript, C/C#, or Rust.
- Proficient in SQL databases like PostgreSQL.
- Experience in developing SDKs and libraries.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with blockchain technologies like Clarity or Solidity.
- Experience in testing distributed systems for fault tolerance.
- Knowledge of tools like Kubernetes, Docker, and Grafana.
- Background in open-source software development.
