Fund Accountant / Operations (Taiwan based. Crypto, Hedge fund background highly preferred)

Overview

Our client is in search of a Fund Operations Associate to join their expanding crypto hedge fund. The ideal candidate should possess a solid background in accounting, fund administration, and investor relations.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact with the fund administrator and vendors to ensure clear communication and resolution of operational issues.
• Conduct regular account reconciliations to maintain transaction accuracy and address discrepancies promptly.
• Prepare and manage detailed financial reports, including profit and loss statements and investor documents, to meet regulatory standards.
• Manage fund-related expenses by overseeing invoice processing, ensuring timely payments, and accurate record-keeping for budget oversight.
• Coordinate the onboarding process for new investors, ensuring compliance with KYC regulations and verifying necessary documentation.
• Support investor relations by addressing basic inquiries on fund performance and processes, and disseminating regular performance reports to enhance transparency.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and fund administration.
• Background experience in a quant hedge fund or crypto-centric organization.
• Strong interpersonal skills and discretion to handle investor requests.
• Exceptional attention to detail with error-free work.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese for external communications.
• Familiarity with trade operations.
• Knowledge of fund structures, legal documents, and regulatory compliance.
• Previous experience in investor relations or client servicing.
• Preferred knowledge of cryptocurrencies.
