We are in search of an experienced leader with a strategic mindset to lead our Global SAR Investigations team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of AML, BSA, Sanctions, Investigations, and SAR Compliance principles, with a strong problem-solving orientation in the complex world of cryptocurrency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead thorough investigations of transactional activities to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and international laws.
• Develop robust crime-preventive controls to safeguard against emerging ML and TF threats.
• Coordinate internal reporting and collaborate with international bodies as required.
• Drive the enhancement and maintenance of a transaction monitoring program to enhance policy effectiveness.
• Align with various internal teams to uphold global compliance standards and best practices.
• Stay updated on BSA/AML, OFAC, FATF Guidances, and other financial regulations.
• Direct complex forensic investigations both internally and externally.
• Utilize blockchain analytics to identify patterns and trends for a proactive approach to detecting suspicious activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Legal, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of anti-financial crime-related experience with 4 years in a leadership capacity, with crypto expertise.
• Proficiency in Financial Intelligence or High-Risk Monitoring areas.
• Familiarity with compliance tools like Chainalysis, TRM, Elliptic, World-Check, etc.
• Strong grasp of Compliance Operations' functions and processes.
• Excellent communication, analytical, time management, and investigative skills.
• Knowledge of local laws, regulations, and future trends in virtual currency legislation.
• Capable of navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced environment and understanding complex compliance issues.
