Job Overview
CleanSpark, a leading data center developer, is seeking a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Operator to provide support for enterprise security operations. This role involves real-time monitoring, incident detection, and coordinated response across corporate and operational environments. By maintaining situational awareness, monitoring security technologies, and facilitating response activities, the GSOC Operator plays a crucial role in protecting CleanSpark's people, assets, and operations within a 24/7 control center environment.
Successful candidates for this position will demonstrate sound judgment, meticulous attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to adapt to evolving security technologies and operational tools. Operating on assigned shifts, the GSOC Operator will be actively involved in pre-shift and post-shift briefings to ensure operational continuity.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring a range of enterprise security systems, including CCTV, access control, alarm monitoring, drone platforms, Blue Force Tracking, OSINT resources, and related technologies.
- Identifying, assessing, prioritizing, and escalating security incidents following established procedures and escalation protocols.
- Upholding enterprise-wide situational awareness by monitoring operational conditions, system alerts, and emerging threats.
- Serving as a central point of communication during security incidents by liaising with on-site personnel, internal stakeholders, and emergency responders.
- Dispatching and tracking security resources while documenting incidents and response activities in incident management systems.
- Reviewing video footage, compiling documentation, and supporting security investigations as necessary.
- Conducting routine system checks and executing responsibilities in line with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and operational playbooks.
- Participating in mandatory training, keeping abreast of GSOC technologies and security platforms, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
- Engaging in scheduled pre-shift and post-shift briefings to ensure effective communication, operational readiness, and seamless shift transitions.

Required Qualifications
- Hold a high school diploma or equivalent; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Emergency Management, Homeland Security, or a related field is preferred.
- Possess 1 to 3 years of experience in a GSOC, SOC, dispatch, emergency communications, monitoring center, military, law enforcement, or similar operational environment.
- Demonstrate competence in utilizing CCTV, access control, alarm monitoring, or similar security technologies.
- Ability to learn and proficiently operate multiple security platforms, monitoring systems, and operational technologies.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Capable of maintaining composure, exercising sound judgment, and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work assigned shifts, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Academic background in Business, Operations, Finance, Communications, Engineering, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Prior experience in internships, campus leadership, volunteer leadership, or project management.
- Interest in energy, technology, digital infrastructure, or Bitcoin mining.
- Proficiency in project management or collaboration platforms like Monday.com or Microsoft Project.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated initiative and a keenness to adapt in a rapidly evolving environment.
The offered compensation ranges from $26 to $28 per hour. Please note that this position may involve tasks requiring the operation of a company vehicle or travel between job sites; thus, candidates must meet the insurability requirements of CleanSpark's vehicle insurance policy.
