Job Summary

We are seeking a Hardware Repair Lead to play a crucial role in CleanSpark’s Bitcoin Mining Operation. This role involves overseeing the maintenance, repair, and optimization of our cryptocurrency mining equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in hardware repair, project management, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technicians in performing repairs, upgrades, and routine maintenance tasks.
• Manage product testing and validation of hardware components like hash boards and power suppliers.
• Oversee inventory management, including procurement and backlog tasks.
• Develop and maintain project timelines, metrics, and resource allocation.
• Keep detailed records of repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment performance.
• Ensure all work meets safety guidelines and regulations.
• Coordinate with the operations team to schedule maintenance and minimize disruptions to mining operations.
• Monitor team metrics/KPIs and assist with ancillary tasks to meet departmental goals.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of technician experience in an industrial or commercial setting.
• Proficiency in understanding electronic components and circuits.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
• Experience with inventory tracking and management.
• Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
• Proficient in problem-solving and troubleshooting technical issues.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Familiarity with Antminer Series 17 & 19 equipment is advantageous.
• Bitman repair certification and troubleshooting electrical systems are bonuses.
• Effective communication skills and openness to travel to other locations as needed.
• Capable of lifting 50-75 lbs.
