About the Opportunity
The role of Head of Ecosystem involves establishing and nurturing relationships within Kadena's ecosystem and with tech partners. Responsibilities include setting objectives, defining timelines, developing data-driven practices, and overseeing a program aimed at driving revenue and retention growth. The ideal candidate will be proficient in generating and closing business partnership leads, staying informed about current and upcoming developments within Kadena, and leveraging this knowledge to form strategic partnerships that contribute to establishing Kadena as a leader in the crypto industry.
The candidate should familiarize themselves with Kadena's existing processes and company culture, embody these values, and promote them within the ecosystem.
Given the anticipated rapid growth of the Kadena ecosystem, the candidate should be adept at seizing emerging opportunities and assuming roles that maximize ecosystem expansion. We seek an individual with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and a readiness to tackle challenges in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
Ultimately, this position will report directly to the VP of Business Development, presenting opportunities for professional growth within the role and the organization.
How You'll Make An Impact
- Identify, lead, and organize events and strategic alliances within the Kadena ecosystem
- Represent Kadena in a forward-facing capacity
- Collaborate with teams to create proposals, establish KPIs, and negotiate terms
- Develop, monitor, and refine a partner profile strategy to enhance outcomes
- Manage external relationships and ensure internal resources meet delivery timelines
- Implement tracking and incentive measures across the organization to foster successful partnerships and ecosystem development
- Coordinate with communications and marketing teams to create a significant footprint
- Inform the community and clients about partnerships and design resources for seamless onboarding
- Cultivate relationships with both new and existing institutional partners
- Engage with cryptocurrency exchanges and related service providers
- Provide mentorship to key business development team members
- Propose projects for grant and accelerator/incubator programs
- Represent Kadena at selected industry events and conferences
What Sets You Apart
- 5+ years experience in partnership cultivation
- Preferred experience in a similar role at a blockchain organization
- Proven track record in strategic engagement, communications development, network building, and collaboration
- Familiarity with global markets and engaging diverse communities in value-driven conversations
- Commitment to continuous improvement and delivering quality business documents
- Willingness to travel frequently and on short notice for business purposes
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business/Finance (preferred)

This role offers an annual starting salary range of $150,000 - $180,000 along with the following benefits:
