Head of Global Strategic Partnerships
BitGo, a leading digital asset financial services provider for institutional investors, is in search of a Head of Global Strategic Partnerships to drive the expansion of strategic partnership initiatives. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of the digital assets ecosystem, custody technology, staking providers, and regulatory landscape. They should also have a successful track record in managing and growing partnerships crucial to the company’s revenue. This role will play a key part in identifying, developing, and overseeing strategic partnerships that enhance service offerings, fuel growth, and bolster BitGo's position in the digital assets custody industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnership Development:
- Identify and assess potential partners globally in the digital assets ecosystem to drive revenue and expand BitGo's business opportunities.
- Create and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy aligned with the company's business objectives and growth goals.
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders within the digital assets and financial services sectors to broaden and strengthen the partnership network.
Staking Business Expansion:
- Collaborate with current partners to optimize staking operations, improve service delivery, and innovate solutions to meet market needs.
- Boost revenue through global strategic partnerships utilizing staking capabilities while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Collaboration and Integration:
- Collaborate closely with internal teams such as Product, Technology, Legal, and Compliance to ensure seamless integration and alignment of partnership initiatives.
- Engage partners in co-developing and enhancing products and services, leveraging synergies for mutual benefit.
Market and Regulatory Insight:
- Stay abreast of market trends, regional variations, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes in digital assets and staking sectors.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on market analysis, with a focus on staking opportunities.
Negotiation and Contract Management:
- Lead negotiations and oversee contractual agreements with partners, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Establish performance metrics and monitor partnership success, implementing enhancements as necessary to maximize staking-related revenue.
Thought Leadership and Representation:
- Represent BitGo at global industry conferences, events, and forums to position the company as a leader in digital assets custody and staking.
- Establish and maintain an industry network to enhance the company’s visibility and influence, particularly in the staking field.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field; advanced degree or MBA preferred.
- Minimum 4-5 years experience in strategic partnerships or business development within digital assets, financial services, or technology sectors.
- Comprehensive understanding of digital assets, blockchain technology, custody solutions, and staking mechanisms.
- Proven track record in developing and managing strategic partnerships, specifically in the staking business on a global scale.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills to influence and build consensus among diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in the digital assets and financial services sectors.
- Strategic thinker with analytical skills to navigate complex market dynamics.
- Willingness to travel when necessary for partner meetings and industry events.
